Base 3 Systems Ltd is the largest SAS® only consultancy in the UK providing world-class SAS solutions for our FTSE100 clients across a number of industry sectors, including major high street banks and Government Institutions. Since our inception in 1996 we have been providing business intelligence solutions and have a wealth of experience in client-server architecture across a wide range of hardware platforms, operating systems and third party databases. We have a highly qualified and experienced company of talented and dedicated employees that are intrinsic to our success.
We are seeking a number of candidates to join our graduate training scheme, this is an exciting opportunity to receive comprehensive SAS training over an intensive 8-week period. Following the course you will be deployed with one of our blue-chip clients, as an employee of Base 3 Systems, working on site amongst other SAS professionals.
We are looking for candidates who are self-driven, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills. Core to success is having a logical, inquisitive mind and an ability to apply knowledge to solve real-world problems. Typically you will possess a degree demonstrating abilities in logic, analysis and data interpretation such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computing, Engineering, or a primary science subject. A minimum achievement of a 2:1 degree is required, supported by A-levels in complementary subjects or excellent A-levels in non-related subjects.

We have two intakes planned for summer 2019, one commencing in July and the other in September.
Training commences on the 1st of July at our offices in Ulverston, Cumbria.

Please also note that to work for Base 3 Systems, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Base 3 Systems can only apply for a work permit in cases where there are no suitably qualified or experienced resident workers; otherwise applicants should normally be resident in the UK or a national of the European Union.
Due to the nature of the Advance Programme it will not be known where you will be sited until after the training has finished. Clients are spread across the UK and so geographical flexibility is essential and is a pre-condition of joining the programme; candidates must be fully prepared to relocate.
